It allows you to dive into a state of non-ordinary consciousness. It is a combination of the ancient practice pranayama and today’s neuroscience. The different breathing exercises alter the brain's and body's chemistry leading to a deep state of meditation. It allows you to e.g. strengthen your immune system, remove mental and physical blockages, reveal forgotten memories, and access creative abundance for mental clarity.

Belonging to the 4th limb of yoga, the ancient practice of conscious breathing aims to regulate and expand our life force (prana). As taught in the Hatha Yoga Pradiprika, the breathing practices (pranayama kriya) that I teach are focused on cleansing, revitalising and energising the body, mind and soul.

The workshops are suitable for all levels of practitioners. It is preferable to join the session on an empty stomach, therefore I would advise to not eat 2-3 hours before. A tiny snack or drinking water is not going to ruin the experience if you need it. Make sure to wear clothes that allow you to fully breathe and sit comfortably.

The practice of breathwork is not recommended for the following conditions: pregnancy, epilepsy, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, high inner eye pressure, clinical anxiety or panic attacks, psychosis, a history of stroke, recent surgery (wounds, broken bones still healing). The practice of pranayama can be adapted according to the practitioners conditions.
PSYCHEDELIC BREATH®
18th October @ 15:00-17:00
vea yoga studio
(Naunynstr. 38, 10999 Berlin)
This 2-hour workshop invites you to embrace the season of autumn—a time of shedding what no longer serves us. Guided through breathing techniques inspired by Pranayama and contemporary breathwork, you’ll enter expanded states of awareness while reconnecting to your body’s inner wisdom.
With the support of essential oils, music, and intention, the breath becomes a tool for release: unlocking stored emotions, clearing the mind, and creating space for renewal. If you've been holding onto something, this is the time to let it go.
No two sessions are the same — the breath reveals itself differently depending on your state of mind and the season of your life. So whether you are new or experienced to breathwork, come as you are!
