My name is Lee, I’m a Yoga and Pranayama Teacher from Stockholm based in Berlin. I come from a diverse cultural background, both Hispanic and Chinese, and I create learning experiences from a place of curiosity and a passion for conscious and healthy living.
For nearly a decade, I've immersed myself in this practice, teaching for eight years. What still captivates me most is the transformative journey I witness in my students. It's been a privilege to guide individuals toward inner peace, improved well-being, and the discovery of a higher version of themselves.
As of 2025, I cherish the countless stories of personal growth and positive change that echo through my years of sharing yoga.
Hi there, nice to meet you!
My Story
I was born and raised in Stockholm, but part of my childhood and teenage years were spent in Chiclana, a beach town in the province of Cádiz, Spain. With immigrant parents from Cuban and Chinese origins, I often felt a lack of belonging to a specific culture. This unconscious detachment fueled my curiosity to seek a meaning beyond “identity”.
Despite having an athletic father, I had little interest in sports until a car accident in 2015 left a permanent injury in my right elbow and shoulder. Around the same time, a picture of a yogi doing a handstand caught my eye. It inspired me to book my first yoga class, marking the beginning of my journey. Viewing my injury not as a limitation but as a challenge, I chose not to let it become a narrative or blockage hindering my body's full experience. Rarely mentioning it voluntarily, I only bring it up if it can inspire others to believe in themselves despite past physical injuries or doubts of their capabilities.
Starting my yoga practice at 17, I became a Yoga Teacher after two years before embarking on business studies at Stockholm University. I tried various styles, until I found a deeper meaning of yoga through the diligence and discipline of Ashtanga. In 2018, during my exchange semester at Waseda University in Tokyo, I decided to make yoga a significant part of my life. This realization led me to pursue my second YTT in Rishikesh, before returning to Europe.
While in Japan, I fell in love with a German boy, which prompted a 3 month visit to Berlin after India and the discovery of the vast and creative yoga scene there. Eventually, after graduating in 2020, I fully committed to an Ashtanga Mysore practice and returned permanently to Berlin to pursue freelancing as a yoga teacher and digital marketer.
